"Sometimes the best way to prepare ourselves to hear in a new and better way is to be still and silent. When we quiet our motor minds - and our motor mouths - we are better able to open our hearts. The ancient practice of Noble Silence helps us begin the process of hearing in a new way; this is a timeless and wise practice that helps us be more sensitive and perceptive."
(Ram Dass / Paul Gorman)
"Sometimes there's so much beauty in the world I feel like I can't take it, like my heart's going to cave in." (Ricky Fitt in "American Beauty")

Synchronicity
"Synchronicity is the experience of two or more events, that are apparently causally unrelated or unlikely to occur together by chance, that are observed to occur together in a meaningful manner." (findet Wikipedia)

Unlocking the Secrets & Science of Happiness.
"Once I began to simply observe my fears, I began to see that they weren't solid, indivisible monsters that I could never overcome, but instead a series of small, fleeting sensations and images that popped in and out of awareness so rapidly that they only gave the semblance of being solid and whole (...). And after observing my fear this way, I started to think, Hmm, that's interesting. This fear isn't so big and powerful at all. In fact, it's pretty harmless. It's just a bunch of transitory sensations that appear, hang aroung for a second or two, and then simply disappear.
This didn't happen overnight, of course. I had to spend a few weeks completely immersed in the process, like some sort of mad scientist utterly absorbed in an experiment. I also had the benefit of several years of training to support me."

"O, grant me my prayer that I may never lose the bliss of the touch of the one in the play of the many."
